The highly anticipated REDMI Note 15 Series officially launched on August 21st in China exclusively. This series is a mid-range devices, which includes REDMI Note 15, Note 15 Pro, Note 15 Pro+ all the devices are 5G based devices. Here's the detailed breakdown of features and upgrades from previous series.

REDMI Note 15 Features & Upgrades:

  • Processor: Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC.

Are there any upgrades compared to REDMI Note 14 5G:

  • Processor: REDMI upgrades the processor from MediaTek Dimensity 7025-Ultra to Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 which is a good upgrade.
  • Battery: The battery upgraded from 5,500mAh to 5,800mAh which is good.
  • Charging: Improves the charging speed from 33W to 45W which is decent.

Are there any upgrades compared to REDMI Note 14 Pro+ 5G:

  • Processor: REDMI upgrades the processor from Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 to Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 which is slightly an over-clocked version of 7s Gen3.
  • Battery: The battery upgraded from 5,100mAh to 7,000mAh which is good.
  • Durability: Improved durability from IP68 to IP68 & IP69K which is good.

Conclusion: Is it worth the upgrade ?

We know REDMI Note Series is such popular everyone waits for the launch. Now-a-days Xiaomi is disappointing fans and the consumers every time. There were no major upgrades in the Note 14 Series and the Note 15 Series, the prices were too high. The higher variant REDMI Note 15 Pro+ comes with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage this type of technology comes under 20K in 2025. At least the higher model should be offered UFS 3.1. And there is no info about the update policy what we can expect is 3 Android Upgrades + 4 Security Patch Updates, The higher variant can get 4+6 Years too but there no strong evidence.

This is not a worthy upgrade another boring launch from the REDMI. REDMI Note 15 is a good upgrade comparing from previous generation. Battery, durability and Multimedia is only the major pros to recommend the device. If you need a mobile which offers high battery life you can go with REDMI Note 15 Pro or Note 15 Pro+.
